| I began my love for racing at an early age visiting my grandmother and going over to Atomic to watch a car race that my cousin sponsored. After giving in to the lure of the bright lights of NASCAR and having fun traveling around the country watching the best short track driver in the world, Dick Trickle, I found myself once again looking to fill the void after his retirement.
A great friend and a fellow (Dick) Trickle fan suggested that maybe I make a return visit to the fastest 1/3 mile in the country. I can still remember the cold Halloween race that I found my love, and got back in the sport.
I have a wonderful wife who supports my career and a Boxer Bulldog who thinks that she’s our kid, but you will most likely never get to see them at the track because their passion isn’t so much to do with racing. After many races and long weekends away from home spending a great deal of money, my wife suggested that I find something to help offset the cost of weekly going to the races.
I then began looking for a souvenir trailer and my career began to fit my passion. I can be found at most dirt tracks in the Tennessee and Georgia area now following the Tennessee Thunder DirtCar Series. I have met a lot of great friends and fellow fans, seen my fair share of super racing, and sold a few t-shirts of the best sport known to man; DIRT TRACK RACING. |
